Updates!

2026 Updates:

• January 2026: Inquiring quotes for painting/sanitizing of the water tower. Updates and more information will be posted as it becomes available. 

2025 Updates:

• September - December 2025: Continuing to evaluate Well #2 water volumes, waiting on State approval. 

• August 2025: Well #2 work is complete. Well #2 was drilled to an approximate depth of 1,300 feet and reconstruction of the pump house. Initial testing indicates excellent water flow.

• June - August 2025: Drilling and reconstruction on Well #2 and the pump house is being done. Anticipated work to be completed by August 2025.

• May & June 2025: Rehab attempts to Well #2 were done. Rehab of Well #2 were not successful to increase water volume. The next step is to drill Well #2 an additional 100-200 feet to get the increased volume and reconstruct the pump house to accommodate deeper well. 

• April 2025: Plan to repair and rehab Well #2 to increase water volume (per Annual PVWT meeting). 

• March 2025: Leak repair in the Broadlands found and repaired.  

• February 2025: The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) completed the 2025 Sanitary Survey Report for the Prairie Village Water Trust. WI DNR Survey Results
